Mohau Nkota is going to the next year’s World Cup to score goals.

The Al-Ettifaq midfielder is not going to the global spectacle in co-hosted by Mexico, USA and Canada to add numbers.

“For me, I just go there to score,” Nkota said on SuperSport TV after the 2026 World Cup draw yesterday.

“I want to score the first goals of the FIFA World Cup.”

“I won’t say it’s easy teams, they’re all best teams,” added the former Orlando Pirates midfielder.

“For us it’s to just go and prove ourselves, raise our hands up and we will do better in the games.”

Bafana are in Group A with Mexico, South Korea and a winner from the European playoffs between Denmark vs North Macedonia and Czech Republic vs Ireland will complete Group A.

Winner between Denmark and North Macedonia will play winner of the Czech Republic and Ireland clash.
