Mohamed Salah the person of the day at the EPL according to Dailysports

On Sunday, December 22, the 17th round of the English Premier League concluded with five final matches. The day will be remembered for yet another fiasco by Manchester United and a high-scoring shootout between Tottenham and Liverpool.

Arne Slot's side took advantage of Chelsea's slip-up, as the Blues failed to overcome Everton, and extended their lead over them in the league standings. The clash against Tottenham ended with a tennis-like score of 3-6, with Salah once again playing the pivotal role on the pitch. The Dailysports team named him the standout performer of today's action.

The Egyptian continues to set new records almost every match. Today, he was involved in four of his team's goals, scoring twice and providing two assists. Notably, Salah currently leads the Premier League scoring chart with 15 goals and also tops the assist rankings with 11 decisive passes.
