Mohamed Salah has been named in Liverpool's best team of the 21st century by Givemesport. Salah came in second place, behind only Steven Gerrard, and was ranked higher than famous players like Fernando Torres, Luis Suárez, and Jamie Carragher.

Salah is called a "phenomenal talent," and since joining Liverpool from AS Roma in 2017, he has greatly improved the team. Even though he had a difficult time at Chelsea earlier in his career, Salah came back to the Premier League and became a key player for Liverpool under Jürgen Klopp.

His outstanding statistics—221 goals and 99 assists in all competitions—make him one of the Premier League's all-time top foreign players, according to the research. In 2020, Salah's efforts were crucial in bringing an end to Liverpool's 30-year league title drought.

Entering his eighth season at Anfield, Salah remains Liverpool's most decorated player on the list, with multiple team and individual honors to his name. While his future at the club beyond the 2024–2025 season remains uncertain, his legacy at Liverpool is firmly established.
