Liverpool traveled to face Aston Villa in matchweek 29 of the Premier League, and once again, the game proved to be a milestone moment for Salah.
Details: The Egyptian winger found the net in the 29th minute, giving his team the lead. This was Salah’s 15th goal in away matches this season, setting a new club record. He surpassed Luis Suárez, who had previously held the record with 14 away goals during the 2013/14 Premier League campaign.
Interestingly, the 32-year-old Egyptian has now matched Cristiano Ronaldo’s tally of goal contributions from the Portuguese star’s best season in England. In the 2007/08 campaign, Ronaldo scored 31 goals and provided 6 assists for Manchester United.
Previously, we reported that Salah equaled Wayne Rooney in an unusual Premier League statistic.
