Mofokeng's Decision on Transfer to Israeli Giants Revealed

Orlando Pirates midfielder Relebohile Mofokeng delivered an impressive performance last season and is now drawing significant interest from foreign clubs. Among those intrigued were top Israeli sides, and now it’s clear what decision the player has made.

Details: According to Siya, the footballer has chosen to turn down offers from two Israeli powerhouses — Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv. Both clubs held talks with Orlando Pirates, but Mofokeng didn’t even enter negotiations over personal terms and opted against a move to the Israeli Premier League.

Mofokeng himself is aiming for a transfer to a club in one of Europe’s top five leagues. There’s also a possibility he will remain in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League until after the Africa Cup of Nations, and only then consider a move elsewhere.
