Unexpected: Orlando Pirates star Relebohile Mofokeng visits South African Parliament


Orlando Pirates midfielder Relebohile Mofokeng made a surprise appearance as a guest at a parliamentary session of the National Council of Provinces (NCOP), as reported by SoccerLaduma.
Mofokeng engaged in a lively discussion with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, as well as other parliament members, including Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture Gayton McKenzie and former SAFA vice-president Chief Mwelo Nonkonyane.
Notably, the 20-year-old footballer was accompanied by his team from the Relebohile Mofokeng Foundation, an organization dedicated to nurturing future leaders, promoting healthy lifestyles, and building a brighter, more inclusive future.
Mofokeng has been part of Orlando Pirates since 2023. Last season, he featured in 49 matches across all competitions, netting 12 goals and providing 15 assists for the club.
Incidentally, Mofokeng could soon be joining Israeli side Maccabi Haifa.
