Mo Salah shares a photo with the match heroes against West Ham
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah posted a photo on his Instagram page featuring the main heroes of the Merseyside club's victory over West Ham. The match concluded with a 2-1 triumph for the Reds.
Salah snapped a selfie with Virgil van Dijk and Luis Diaz. These two players were the architects of Liverpool's crucial goals that secured the win in the latest Premier League fixture. Diaz not only found the net himself but also provided an assist for Virgil. Mohamed himself delivered the decisive pass to the Colombian.
The victory over the London club allowed Liverpool to extend their lead over second-placed Arsenal to 13 points. With only six rounds remaining in the championship, the Reds are on the verge of clinching the title early. A win in the next two matches will seal the championship officially.
Recall that Liverpool last won the English Premier League in 2020. In the subsequent years, Manchester City claimed the title, but this season the Citizens' winning streak is set to be broken.
