Raúl Jiménez’s next career move could take him across the Atlantic. According to Fútbol Total, three Major League Soccer teams—LAFC, LA Galaxy, and Houston Dynamo—have already begun exploring the possibility of signing the Mexican striker from Fulham. All three clubs, popular among Hispanic fanbases, see Jiménez as a dual asset: a proven goalscorer and a box office draw.
Jiménez, 33, is under contract with Fulham through June 2025, though his current deal includes an option for an additional year. That extension has not yet been triggered, leaving room for other clubs to present attractive offers. Fulham is reportedly pleased with his performances, but MLS franchises believe his arrival would be a game-changer both on and off the field.
The striker is also being watched by Liga MX giants Tigres, Monterrey, and Club América. However, Jiménez has yet to publicly indicate a desire to return to Mexico. For now, his sights remain set on maintaining his form in Europe, where he continues to play a key role for the Mexican national team.
Valued at approximately $5.6 million by Transfermarkt, Jiménez has a decorated European resume that includes stints with Atlético Madrid, Benfica, and Wolverhampton. A move to MLS could mark the beginning of a new chapter in his career—one that brings star power to any team willing to make the investment.
