MLS club could change location and move to Las Vegas. What is happening?

The MLS season only recently got underway, but unexpected reports have now emerged regarding the possible relocation of one of the league’s clubs.

Details: According to information from Polymarket, Canadian side Vancouver Whitecaps could move to Las Vegas. The club recently released a statement calling on local ownership groups to come forward in an effort to keep the team in Vancouver.

At present, however, there are no such proposals on the table that could prevent the club from relocating. MLS’s ownership committee recently discussed the possibility of moving the franchise, with Las Vegas viewed as one of the leading options.
