MLS club Austin FC announced the transfer of the defender of the national team of Ukraine

Central defender of the Ukrainian national team, Oleksandr Svatok, has chosen an exotic destination to continue his career.

MLS club Austin FC officially announced the signing of the 29-year-old player. Svatok's previous club was SC Dnipro-1. The financial details of the transfer have not been disclosed yet.

Svatok has signed a 3.5-year contract with Austin FC, with an option to extend for another year.

Currently, Svatok is with the Ukrainian national team, which is competing in Euro 2024. On Wednesday, Serhiy Rebrov's team will play a decisive group stage match against Belgium.

Svatok made his debut for the Ukrainian national team in March 2023 and has already played 6 matches for the squad.

After 20 rounds of the regular season, Austin FC is in eighth place in the Western Conference.
