An MLS team is in negotiations with Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag, as reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Minnesota has reached out to the specialist and offered him the position of head coach of the team. Erik ten Hag is currently their top target for this position, as negotiations are ongoing and progressing well. If he indeed takes charge of Minnesota, he would become the youngest coach in MLS history at 31 years old.

In other news, Colombian striker Luis Muriel of Atalanta has officially joined Orlando City, an MLS club. A significant figure in Atalanta's history, Muriel has signed a three-year contract with his new club. It was previously reported that Atalanta would receive around two million euros for the player, whose contract was set to expire in the summer.

Additionally, Inter Miami head coach Gerardo Martino has confirmed that forward Lionel Messi has recovered from injury and is ready to participate in the opening match of the MLS season against Real Salt Lake.
