Milford FC beats Magesi FC to move atop of the PSL Promototion/Relegation Play-Off table
Khanyisani Radebe netted at the death for Milford FC against Magesi FC this afternoon at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex to go on top of the PSL Promotion/Relegation Play-Off table.
Radebe scored Milford's all important goal in what was a tense game in Kwa-Zulu Natal. Magesi FC came into this game high in confidence after beating Cape Town City on Saturday.
Their Betway Premiership experience has been seen as their strength but it was not to be in this tie against The Stallions.
Milford were resolute in their play and approach and the goal was not a surprise.
They were the most attacking of the two teams in this Play-Off match.
This win for Milford, though, opens the mini-league table as now the National First Division side are atop with six points while Magesi are second with three.
Milford will be hoping to beat Cape Town City, who they face on Saturday to be on nine points which will bring them closer to a PSL promotion.
For now they will celebrate today's victory as it also brings them closer to realising the promotion dream.
