During the 14th round Serie A match against Torino, AC Milan winger Rafael Leão was forced to leave the pitch in the 31st minute due to an injury. He was replaced by Samuele Ricci.

Details: According to Tuttosport, the MRI scan that Rafael Leão underwent after the incident in the recent match revealed no muscle damage. However, the examination did show inflammation in the area of the right adductor muscle—a condition that requires careful monitoring to prevent a more serious problem, including the risk of pubalgia.

The forward has already begun therapy, and Massimiliano Allegri's coaching staff intends to proceed with the utmost caution, unwilling to risk the Portuguese star's health. His participation in the upcoming clash against Sassuolo remains in doubt, though his inclusion in the squad cannot be entirely ruled out.

Within the club, however, there is confidence that the upcoming trip to Riyadh for the Supercoppa Italiana against Napoli on December 18 poses no concerns. Milan is counting on having Leão fully fit for this crucial showdown.

It’s worth noting that the Portuguese winger has made twelve appearances for Milan this season, notching up six goals and one assist.

Reminder: Milan is close to signing Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
