Milan summer newcomer was injured in his debut game for the team

Summer signing Álvaro Morata has suffered an injury in his debut match for AC Milan.

The Spanish striker sustained a muscle injury during the game against Torino (2-2), which will sideline him for at least three weeks.

It is expected that Morata will return to the field after the international break.

Milan signed Morata from Atlético Madrid this summer for €13 million, with the Spanish forward inking a contract with the Rossoneri until 2028.

Notably, Milan also announced the signing of a French national team midfielder last week.
