AC Milan has officially announced the signing of AS Monaco and France national team midfielder Youssouf Fofana.
The French midfielder has signed a contract with the Rossoneri until June 30, 2028.
Earlier reports indicated that Milan would pay Monaco €25 million plus bonuses for Fofana's transfer.
Fofana made his professional debut for Strasbourg, where he played 41 matches and scored four goals. In January 2020, he moved to Monaco, where he played 175 matches, scoring seven goals and providing fifteen assists.
This summer, the 25-year-old Fofana was part of the France national team at Euro 2024. He came off the bench in three matches during the tournament and has a total of 21 caps for Les Bleus.
