Details: Milan has turned down Fenerbahçe’s bid for Rafael Leão, which was structured as a loan with a purchase option. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Istanbul club isn’t giving up yet—a fresh offer could be on the table soon.
The Rossoneri’s stance hasn’t shifted since the start of the window: only a permanent transfer, and only for serious money. Earlier reports indicated that Milan wants at least €50 million for the Portuguese star and isn’t even considering temporary deals—neither a loan with an obligation to buy, which Galatasaray explored, nor a loan with an option, which Fenerbahçe proposed.
Meanwhile, the winger himself is ready for a move. This summer, Leão parted ways with his personal agent and brought in lawyers to speed up his exit from Milan, while his name has surfaced in England too, with Manchester United and Arsenal showing interest. Fenerbahçe, for their part, are ready to go the distance: the Turks have been weighing a package worth around €40 million, potentially rising to €50 million with bonuses.
