AC Milan's central midfielder Rade Krunic is on the verge of a transfer to Fenerbahçe.

The Bosnian footballer has already traveled to Istanbul for the medical examination and to finalize the contract, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

The transfer has cost the Turkish club 5 million euros. The 30-year-old midfielder will sign a contract for 2.5 years.

Fenerbahçe sought to sign Krunic even during the summer, but the clubs couldn't reach an agreement. As the season progressed, the central midfielder fell out of the starting lineup, prompting Milan to agree to his departure.

Krunic joined AC Milan in the summer of 2019 from Empoli. Since then, he has scored 3 goals and provided 6 assists in 139 matches.

It will be recalled that yesterday Fenerbahçe signed legendary Italian centre-back Leonardo Bonucci as a free agent.
