AC Milan has expressed interest in Aston Villa's forward Jhon Duran, according to Sky Sport Italia. Reports suggest that the Italian club is inspired by the skill set and potential of the Colombian striker.

However, in order to secure the player's transfer, Milan would need to offload one of their non-European Union passport holders. According to sources, Bosnian midfielder Rade Krunic is the primary candidate to depart in this scenario.

Duran, aged 20, has been with Aston Villa since January last year. The Birmingham-based club secured his transfer from the American side Chicago for around €17 million. This season, the forward has appeared in 21 matches across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing one assist.

Previously, it was reported that AC Milan is close to acquiring Verona's talented defender, Filippo Terracciano.

Rossoneri currently hold the third position in the Serie A standings after 18 rounds. Aston Villa, experiencing a remarkable season, sits second in the Premier League.
