Milan identifies top candidate to replace Mike Maignan

Chelsea have stepped up their pursuit of Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan. It appears the Frenchman has already made up his mind about his future, and now the Rossoneri are on the hunt for a new shot-stopper.
Details: According to journalist Alfredo Pedullà, the Italian club is currently considering Vanja Milinković-Savić, who is leaving Torino and is Milan’s top priority.
As for Maignan’s situation, Chelsea are set to submit an official offer to Milan in the coming days. The goalkeeper himself has agreed to the move to the London club.
Previously, it was reported that Maignan’s contract with Milan runs until 2026, but uncertainty around his future remains — the player is in no hurry to sign an extension.
Maignan has played 163 matches for Milan, keeping 59 clean sheets in that time.
Reminder: Chelsea failed to reach an agreement with Jadon Sancho and will not buy him from Manchester United — the winger will return to the English club.
