Milan has proposed a new sum to Monaco for the French midfielder
Milan is keen to strengthen their midfield and is determined to sign Monaco's Youssouf Fofana.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the "Rossoneri" have submitted an improved offer to the French club, proposing €20 million as a fixed fee plus additional bonuses. Monaco, in turn, is now requesting €25 million plus bonuses for Fofana. While no agreement has been reached yet, negotiations are ongoing as Fofana has made it clear that he wishes to join Milan.
Recently, Milan's coach confirmed their intent to sign the French international midfielder despite interest from Manchester United.
Earlier it was reported that Fofana had agreed a move to Milan, but Manchester United have entered the race, who are also intent on signing the 25-year-old midfielder.
Another centre midfield player the Mancunians have been linked with is also from French champions Manuel Ugarte of PSG.
