Milan are interested in the midfielder that Inter and Napoli failed to sign previously
After appointing Paulo Fonseca as the new head coach, AC Milan continues to actively revamp their squad.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Milan is showing interest in Udinese's central midfielder Lazar Samardzic. The Rossoneri have inquired about the conditions for a possible transfer of the 22-year-old player.
A year ago, Samardzic was highly sought after by Inter and Udinese, but his moves to these clubs fell through at the last moment when the Serbian's father and agent changed the contract terms.
The transfer fee is expected to be around €25 million. It's also known that the potential transfer of Youssouf Fofana from Monaco does not depend on Samardzic's move.
In 97 matches for Udinese, Samardzic scored 13 goals and provided 9 assists. Previously, he played for RB Leipzig and Hertha.
