Miguel Cardoso pleased with Deano Van Rooyen signing for Mamelodi Sundowns

Miguela Cardoso has described Deano Van Rooyen signing by Mamelodi Sundowns as an ‘experienced’ one.

Sundowns have been left exposed by the void which exists because of Khuliso Mudau's absence in the tam's right-back position.

They have tried few of their players but could not get the kind of dimension Mudau gives them moving forward.

And that's why the club opted to sign free agent van Rooyen.

“We have Zuko, we have Thapelo Morena. And now we bring in Deano, that obviously comes to help, experienced player," said Cardoso.

“Let’s see what he can give us. Let’s hope he comes in and he will for sure embrace us. We will embrace him.

“And we will try to bring everything he can give so that he can make us better. Like all the other ones that are here.”
