Might not wait for summer. Tuchel risks to depart from Bayern Munich as early as next week

Bayern Munich is enduring a disappointing season under the guidance of Thomas Tuchel. Consequently, the club and the coach have decided to part ways at the end of the season.

However, Tuchel might depart from Munich much sooner. According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, the relationship between the coach and the club could come to an end as early as next Tuesday, March 5. This scenario would unfold if Bayern fails to overcome Lazio and is eliminated from the Champions League.

Should the Bavarian giants manage to advance to the quarterfinals after a 1-0 away defeat, then Tuchel would be expected to remain at the helm until the end of the season.

It's also noted that, at this stage, the club's leadership hasn't identified a better interim solution to take over Tuchel's position until the season's conclusion.

Currently, Bayern trails Bayer Leverkusen by seven points, with Leverkusen set to play their 24th round match against Cologne tomorrow, potentially extending their lead to ten points.
