West Ham midfielder Pablo Fornals will continue his career in his homeland.

The 27-year-old Spaniard will join the La Liga club Real Betis on a permanent basis, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. West Ham will receive a guaranteed fee of six million euros for the player, with an additional four million euros in bonuses.

The Spanish side is currently completing the paperwork, and the deal will be considered closed once that is finalized.

Fornals has been with West Ham since the summer of 2019, and in the current season, he has played 23 matches for the "Hammers" without registering any goal contributions.

Transfermarkt values the player at 17 million euros, but the lower transfer fee, differing from the portal's assessment, may be related to the player's contract, which expires next summer.

Earlier, West Ham loaned midfielder Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City.
