Michael Schumacher's son responds to rumors about breakup with girlfriend
Mick Schumacher, son of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher, has recently been the subject of rumors about a split with his girlfriend, model Laila Hasanovic. Without directly addressing the speculation, Mick posted a New Year’s photo on Instagram featuring Laila, putting doubts to rest for fans.
The post left no room for further speculation: the relationship between Hasanovic and Schumacher remains as strong as ever.
The couple announced their relationship in August 2023 and have often been spotted together, both at Formula 1 races and during outings to restaurants, hotels, and tropical vacations.
Hasanovic is one of the few people allowed into the close inner circle of the Schumacher family, even meeting Mick’s father, Michael. She has also been photographed alongside Corinna, Michael’s wife.
The Schumacher family has kept Michael’s health condition private following a tragic skiing accident in 2013.
Mick Schumacher, meanwhile, stepped down as Mercedes’ reserve driver in November after two years in the role. Prior to that, he raced for the Haas team.
