Inter Miami are already gearing up for the upcoming season, even though they only recently wrapped up the previous campaign with an MLS triumph. However, there is some worrying news for the team.

Details: According to DAZN, Lionel Messi has sustained a left thigh injury. He is gradually working his way back to full fitness with the squad. The final preseason match had been scheduled for February 14 in Puerto Rico, but Messi and the team decided to play on the island and rescheduled the fixture.

It is also worth noting that Inter Miami owner David Beckham has not abandoned hopes of delivering the most ambitious project in sports history. The American club are closely monitoring the situation surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo.

Reminder: Newell’s Old Boys vice president Juan Manuel Medina confirmed that the club are already working on a move to bring Lionel Messi back.
