Nicolas offered a highly creative answer, comparing the two modern football legends to iconic anime characters:
"Messi is Naruto or Son Goku, and Cristiano is Sasuke or Vegeta.
Since Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr, he has scored 200 penalties. Messi doesn’t care about penalties. Cristiano Ronaldo gives a lot of interviews and talks too much about Messi, and that shows he’s number 2. Do you know ‘Dragon Ball Z’? Vegeta was always the one to say that, but who never did? Goku. Ronaldo feels the same frustration, knowing that Messi is always ahead of him." – stated Pépé.
This season, Pépé has played 20 matches for the "Yellow Submarine," netting 2 goals and providing 1 assist.
