Messi is furious. He allowed himself to directly insult the referee, but did not receive a red card

Details: The visitors opened the scoring, but Messi managed to level the game. Late in the match, Charlotte had the chance to take the lead, but their goal was disallowed for offside. Nine minutes were added to the second half, and both teams continued to fight hard, with Inter Miami getting a golden opportunity to snatch victory.
In the 102nd minute, Messi, after dribbling past six opponents, sent a pass to Jordi Alba, who crossed the ball into the box for Luis Suárez. However, Suárez, from point-blank range, failed to find the net, sending the ball over the bar. In the aftermath, Charlotte goalkeeper Kristijan Kahlina collided with the Uruguayan striker, sending him crashing to the ground.
Despite the obvious contact, the referee’s whistle remained silent, infuriating Messi. The Argentine confronted referee Ramy Touchan and hurled insults at him. The only consequence for Messi, however, was a yellow card, and that too, only after the final whistle.
Quote: “You're a mean-spirited son of a b****,” Ole reported Messi saying.
Reminder: Despite three consecutive draws, Inter Miami continues to lead the Eastern Conference and has secured a spot in the MLS playoffs.
