Messi humiliates PSG?! One detail sparks controversy among football fans
Lionel Messi has seemingly delivered a subtle but brutal snub to his former club Paris Saint-Germain.
Details: The Argentine superstar was photographed arriving at Inter Miami's training facilities carrying a personalised black bag for his traditional mate drink. However, eagle-eyed football fans quickly spotted one particularly intriguing detail. The accessory features the crests of Barcelona, Inter Miami, Newell's Old Boys and the Argentina national team, but there is absolutely no sign of the PSG logo.
The omission is particularly striking considering that Messi spent two seasons playing for the Parisian giants. While his childhood club Newell's Old Boys has earned a place on the accessory, PSG has apparently been completely overlooked.
The photographs, shared by Inter Miami and discussed across social media, have sparked speculation among supporters. Some have interpreted the missing crest as a deliberate message to the French club, although Messi himself has offered no explanation for the choice of logos.
It's worth noting that Messi represented PSG from 2021 to 2023, winning two French league titles before leaving Paris and joining Inter Miami in the summer of 2023.
