McDavid continues to rewrite Stanley Cup playoff history

On the night of Friday, May 30, the fifth game of the Western Conference Final took place between the Dallas Stars and the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers came out on top, and their captain etched his name into playoff history.
Details: Connor McDavid delivered an assist in the opening minutes of the game—his 100th in Stanley Cup playoff action. He reached this milestone in just 90 games, making him the second-fastest player in league history to hit the mark. Only Wayne Gretzky did it faster, reaching 100 playoff assists in 70 games.
Edmonton secured a 6-3 victory and advanced to the Stanley Cup Final. For the second year in a row, the Oilers will face off against the Florida Panthers in the championship series. The Final gets underway on the night of June 5.
