Mbekezeli Mbokazi has made history again in the MLS.

The Chicago Fire defender has received the most votes in the MLS All Star votes than any player in the league.

This will see him play in the same team as Argentina's Lionel Messi and Son Heung-Min.

He also becomes the first South African to make the All Star Game since Doctor Khumalo in 1996.

Mbokazi has been impressive in his debut season in the US for Chicago Fire and he has been an instant hit with the club fans and football followers in that country.

He is currently in camp with Bafana Bafana ahead of the World Cup this month.
