Mbekezeli Mbokazi agent admits she is busy with inquiries on the Chicago Fire defender's services
Mbekezeli Mbokazi agent Basia Michaels has admitted to be inundated with calls inquiring about the Chicago Fire defender's services.
Michaels said this has been an extremely busy period but she is dealing with it with the calmness it deserves.
The former Orlando Pirates defender was one of the best performing players for South Africa at the ongoing World Cup and expectation is that European clubs should have an interest in him.
Although the agent did not divulge where the interest is coming from, she did mention there has been calls seeking to know about the player's availability.
“Extremely busy – but busy is good so we take it,” Michaels told iDiski Times.
“It’s very, very early to tell, but there have been a good number of scouts that have reached out that are doing the initial groundwork that needs to be done. When the sporting directors start calling, then I know it’s real.”
Meanwile, Mbokazi is back at Chicago Fire, where he was recently joined by former Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski and they face Vancouver Whitecaps in the MLS today.
