Mbappé to Liverpool? The truth about the potential transfer and his conflict with Mourinho

Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has categorically denied rumors of a conflict with Kylian Mbappé, as well as media reports claiming that the star forward is supposedly planning to leave the club for a move to Liverpool in 2027.

Details: Speaking to reporters on the eve of the La Liga clash with Villarreal, the Portuguese coach described such publications as “problem hunting” by media outlets in search of sensational headlines.

The Madrid manager gave an extensive response to the recent criticism directed at the player, explaining that his trip to Paris during the international break was linked to a private event held as part of Fashion Week, while the bike ride took place on the grounds of a secluded Swiss hotel purely for convenience and did not violate the club’s strict safety regulations. In addition, Mourinho confirmed that the Frenchman’s minor knee injury is being fully managed by the medical staff and that the player is ready to take the field.

The head coach urged fans at the Santiago Bernabéu to show wisdom, support the team and not fall for provocative rumors. Mourinho stressed that discipline within the squad remains at the highest level, and that any genuine breaches by players would be dealt with immediately by the coaching staff. Mbappé, therefore, is fully focused on performing for the Madrid club.
