Details: According to Mundo Deportivo, citing insider Thibaud Vézirian, Mbappé’s contract with the American giant Nike—who has been outfitting the star since he was eight years old—expired on July 31. The reports indicate that the striker has no intention of switching to other traditional market leaders like Adidas, Puma, or Under Armour. Instead, Kylian is close to sealing a lucrative deal with a surprise brand set to make a triumphant entry into the football world with a premium line of boots.
Under the terms of the new contract, the French superstar is expected to receive not only a hefty guaranteed payout but also his own signature product line and a stake in the company.
Meanwhile, there are sponsorship shakeups looming for other French players as well: Manchester City midfielder Rayan Cherki is also on the verge of changing his kit supplier. His agreement with Adidas is about to expire, and Puma is leading the chase for his signature with an offer reportedly in the €3–4 million per year range.
