The PSG forward, Kylian Mbappé, continues to dazzle in the UEFA Champions League. On Tuesday, March 5th, the Parisians traveled to face Real Sociedad for the second leg of the round of 16.

The French striker scored a goal in the first encounter between these teams and managed not only to replicate but also to surpass his achievement today. Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring as early as the 15th minute of this match, courtesy of an assist from Usman Dembélé. At the start of the second half, Mbappé completed a brace, doubling PSG's advantage.

For the French forward, these are already his 45th and 46th goals in the UEFA Champions League. Thus, he has surpassed the likes of Mohamed Salah and Didier Drogba. Additionally, Mbappé has equaled Filippo Inzaghi's goal tally. Moreover, he has been involved in 35 goals in 32 away matches, scoring 24 goals and providing 11 assists. Mbappé leads this statistic since his debut in the Champions League in the 2016/17 season.

Furthermore, Mbappé has now scored his sixth goal in the current UEFA Champions League season, sharing the top spot among goal scorers with Harry Kane.
