Details: Striker Mauro Icardi sustained an injury and left the field toward the end of the game. According to Galatasaray’s official website, the Argentine underwent medical exams revealing a tear and meniscus damage in the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee.
The forward has now begun preoperative rehabilitation, with surgery planned soon. As a result, he will miss the remainder of the season.
