Prominent football and political figures will attend this historic event, which will mark a turning point in the development of youth football in the nation and throughout Africa.
To finalize event preparations, FIFA group traveled to Nouakchott on January 30. To make sure the event went well, the delegation, led by Mr. Amit Desai and Ms. Alex Heute Ramos, met with FFRIM President Ahmed Yahya and other officials.
By being a part of FIFA's Talent Development Program, the FFRIM Academy will raise the bar for continental football development by providing Mauritania's youth with better facilities, training, and opportunities.
This milestone will not only benefit local football, but will also encourage other African federations to follow Mauritania's lead in building organized, FIFA supported football academies. The program will provide more international possibilities for young players and might significantly alter the future of African football.
