According to news from Mauritania, few people are purchasing tickets for the crucial match between Cape Verde and the national team. The outcome of this Tuesday's match will determine if Mauritania can travel to Morocco for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Mauritania needs to win against Cape Verde and also needs Egypt to win against Botswana for them to qualify. The Mauritanian Football Federation started selling tickets on Sunday, but they only let people buy two tickets each. They also said no tickets will be sold close to the stadium on the day of the game.

With four points, Mauritania is now at the bottom of the group, trailing Cape Verde on goal differential. Egypt has already qualified, leading the group with 13 points, while Botswana is in second position with 7.
