The United States will lose their head coach after the World Cup.

Details: According to renowned journalist and insider Nicolò Schira on his X social media page, 54-year-old Argentine Mauricio Pochettino has decided to step down as head coach of the US national team after the World Cup.

Reports indicate that Pochettino has received an official offer from Italy, where AC Milan are interested in his services as they search for a new head coach following Allegri's departure.

Pochettino took charge of the US national team in September 2024. During his tenure, he managed 24 matches, claiming 14 wins, 1 draw, and 9 defeats.

Earlier in his coaching career, Pochettino managed clubs such as PSG, Chelsea, Tottenham, Southampton, and Espanyol.
