Matz Sels the person of the day at the EPL according to Dailysports

On Tuesday, January 14, the latest round of the Premier League kicked off, and as always, our team selected the standout performer of the day.

As part of round 21, Nottingham Forest hosted Liverpool in a match that ended 1–1. However, if not for the heroics of Nottingham’s goalkeeper, Matz Sels, the result could have been very different.

Sels made five saves, three of them from shots inside the penalty area. His "goals prevented" metric stood at 0.92, meaning he denied Liverpool at least one clear-cut scoring opportunity.

Thanks to the goalkeeper’s outstanding performance, the Nottingham Forest shot-stopper is recognized as Dailysports' player of the day in the Premier League.
