Marumo Gallants coach confident they will save the team from Betway Premiership relegation
Trevor Mthiyane has admitted difficulty in Marumo Gallants' fight against the drop yet also said they still have the fight in them.
Mthiyane's Gallants are second from bottom with 23 points and they have not won a game in eight outings.
Yesterday's 1-1 draw against Richards Bay was their fifth consecutive stalemate in their last eight matches.
Things are looking bleak for the Mangaung-based side but Mthiyane, who is coaching on interim basis, said they are going to fight until the end to save the side's PSL status.
"At the moment it is very difficult for every team at the bottom, we got a point today and we have to appreciate what we get, and we'll keep on fighting until we get the result."
"I think we started very slowly in the first half. Christopher Sithole wasn't getting on the ball so we had to make changes, and I'm happy that the changes worked and we were able to play and create chances in the second half."
Gallants are left with playing Polokwane City away from home and host Stellenbosch FC in their remaining PSL matches.
