Marseille have loaned the Inter midfielder for €1m with an option to buy him back for €36m
Following the appointment of Roberto De Zerbi as the new head coach, Marseille continues to be active in the transfer market.
Today, the French club officially loaned Argentine attacking midfielder Valentín Carboni from Inter Milan. They paid €1 million for the loan, with an option to buy for €36 million, which is not obligatory.
Last season, Carboni was on loan at Monza, where he scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists in 31 Serie A matches. Carboni also has 3 caps for the Argentina national team.
Yesterday, it was announced that another Argentine, goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli from Ajax, will be joining Marseille.
Carboni is the seventh new addition to Marseille this summer. The club has previously signed Mason Greenwood from Manchester United, loaned midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg from Tottenham, acquired midfielder Ismaël Koné from Watford, central defender Lilian Brassier from Brest, and central defender Derek Cornelius from Malmö.
