Chelsea is undergoing a true transfer revolution. A few days ago, head coach Enzo Maresca announced that winger Raheem Sterling should leave the club to secure more playing time. The same applies to left-back Ben Chilwell.
However, Sterling might not be the only winger to depart from the "Blues." Noni Madueke could face a similar fate, as hinted by Maresca during a press conference following the UEFA Conference League qualifying playoff match against Servette.
“I like Noni Madueke… the only problem with him is he has to be consistent in every training session. I want to keep him at the club, for sure. The reality is, until the window is closed, anything can happen”, – Maresca said.
Interestingly, Madueke scored a goal in the match against Servette. He came on as a substitute and made it 2-0.
Last season, Madueke recorded 5 goals and 2 assists in 23 Premier League appearances.
