The Club World Cup is fast approaching, and the coaches of the participating teams are finalizing the squads they will rely on for the tournament in the United States. Chelsea's head coach Enzo Maresca has also made his decision.
Details: According to the Daily Mail, four players who were out on loan last season—namely Djordje Petrovic, Raheem Sterling, João Félix, and Axel Disasi—have not been included in the Blues' squad for the Club World Cup.
The exception is Andrey Santos, as other players who were sent on loan have been excluded from the squad because Chelsea considers this an extension of the 2024-25 season. Meanwhile, new signings such as Liam Delap, Dário Essugo, and Mamadou Sarr have made the list.
Reminder: It was previously reported that Chelsea submitted a new bid for winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, which met Borussia Dortmund's requirements, but it was immediately rejected.
