Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca addressed the performance of summer signing Jadon Sancho and explained why the English winger did not feature in the starting lineup for the last two matches.
Quote: "He didn't play in the last two games due to my tactical decisions. Nothing more than that.
Sancho has been performing well since joining us. Players can’t maintain the same level throughout the entire season. He will play a lot of matches; he just needs to keep working hard," the coach was quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
Recall: Chelsea loaned Sancho from Manchester United in August. In six matches for his new team, the winger has registered three assists.
