Chelsea made no reinforcements ahead of the Club World Cup kick-off, and now the team's head coach has explained whether fans should expect new signings this summer.
Details: At a press conference before the match against Los Angeles FC, Enzo Maresca stated that changes are definitely coming. Jadon Sancho has left the club, leaving only three wingers at his disposal. The Italian also shared updates regarding a possible transfer for Maignan.
Quote: "Robert Sánchez is our number one, and Filip Jorgensen is number two. Mike Penders has joined us as well. Then we'll make a final decision," Maresca noted.
The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 kicks off on Monday, June 16, with a thrilling showdown between Chelsea and Los Angeles FC at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
Reminder: Four Chelsea players did not travel with the team to the Club World Cup.
