Manuel Neuer, who was Germany's first-choice goalkeeper at Euro 2024, has made a decision about his future, according to Christian Falk.
Neuer has chosen to continue his international career and participate in the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. However, he will not feature in Germany's UEFA Nations League matches in September.
Neuer made his debut for the national team on June 2, 2009, in a friendly against the UAE, where Germany won 7-2. He became the first-choice goalkeeper for Germany shortly before the 2010 World Cup.
Additionally, 33-year-old midfielder İlkay Gündoğan has decided to retire from international duty, which began for him in 2011. Gündoğan announced his decision on his Instagram page.
Thomas Müller has also ended his international career.
