Manqoba Mngqithi on why he joined Tanzania champions Young Africans as coach
Mngqithi said the Caf Champions League is the reason he signed
Manqoba Mngqithi has broken silence on his latest move to Tanzania Premier League Young Africans.
Mngqithi was announced by the recently crowned Tanzanian champions yesterday as they won the league without a permanent coach.
“It’s always exciting,” said Mngqithi on SABC TV.
“I just wanted to be back into the Champions League space and see what can happen. And an ambitious club that is willing to try and bring some players to make sure that we can achieve our objectives.
“Very professional setup that is very encouraging for me. And it’s something that I’ve always been looking forward to, to be back in the Champions League and see how far can I take the East of Africa in the Champions League.”
