Manchester United set the sights on Monaco leader

A midfielder of Monaco and the French national team, Youssouf Fofana, is attracting the interest from top European clubs.

The source claims that scouts from the Turin club have been attending Monaco matches for several weeks.

As for Manchester United, the English giants are also showing specific interest in the French midfielder. According to the source, at the end of last summer the Red Devils offered to rent the player, but this offer did not suit Monaco and the transfer ultimately did not take place.

This season, Fofana has played 12 matches for Monaco in various tournaments, in which he has recorded three assists.

His contract with the current club is valid until June 2025, and the estimated cost of the player, according to the Internet portal Transfermarkt, is 25 million euros.
