The leader of Manchester United's midfield, Bruno Fernandes, has conveyed his desire to remain within the collective, as reported by A Bola.

According to the Portuguese footballer, he wishes to continue representing the "Red Devils" and envisions himself solely within this project. Additionally, Bruno Fernandes disclosed that he has already met with the new owners.

"I have already had a meeting with the new owners. They desire to meet with the players, and they have already done so individually," stated the Portuguese footballer.

Recall that on January 29, 2020, the English club Manchester United announced the achievement of an agreement with Sporting regarding Fernandes' transfer. The deal amounted to 55 million euros (47 million pounds), but it could rise to 80 million euros with various bonuses. The transfer was completed on January 30. Fernandes signed a contract with the English club for a term of five and a half years.

Incidentally, we recently reported that Manchester United has not yet offered a new contract to their center-back Raphael Varane. It has been disclosed that the "Red Devils" have not yet extended any new proposals to the French footballer regarding a new agreement.
